Art Sheinberg

Art Sheinberg has been an orchestra teacher with the Albuquerque Public Schools for the past 23 years.  He conducted the Albuquerque Junior Orchestra for 15 years.  Mr. Sheinberg holds degrees in music and double bass performance from the University of New Mexico.  As a performer, he played for 15 years in the New Mexico Symphony Orchestra, and is a founding member of the early music group Musica Antigua de Albuquérque.  Mr. Sheinberg was named Music Educator of the Year in 1992 by the New Mexico Music Educators Association.
