Donna Brink Fox is Eastman School of Music Professor of Music Education and Eisenhart Professor of Music Education. She is also Director of the Early Childhood Music Program and served as Acting Dean of Academic Affairs from 2004-2005. She has served as Director of the Early Childhood Program for Eastman's Community Education Division and as Director of Eastman's summer Orff Schulwerk Teacher Training course.

Dr. Brink Fox received her bachelor of arts degree from Calvin College, a master of music degree from Ohio University and a PhD from Ohio State University. An international consultant on early childhood music, Dr. Brink Fox has conducted workshops and clinics throughout the U.S. and Australia. She was featured in MENC Promising Practices in Pre-Kindergarten Music and on the NBC Today Show. Dr. Brink Fox has been invited to write papers and give presentations for Chamber Music America, MENC, ISME, NYSSMA, MTNA, Regional Music Therapy Association, AOSA, Bowling Green Symposium, and Suncoast Music Education Conference. She has written articles on music education for young children in Current Issues in Music Education Psychomusicology, Music Educators Journal, American Music Teacher, Quarterly Journal of Music Teaching and Learning, General Music Today, and International Journal of Music Education.

Dr. Brink Fox is a co-author of Classroom Music for Little Mozarts, an early childhood classroom music course from Alfred Publishing. She is the co-author of the computer software package TONEY Listens to Music. A contributor to Suzuki World, Children's Music Workshop, and Music and You, she is also a member of the editorial board for Psychomusicology.

Among her achievements are: Recipient of the Eisenhart Award for Excellence in Teaching (1996); Outstanding Alumni Award, Ohio University School of Music; member of Who's Who in American Women.

Dr. Fox is a member and is on the Board of Trustees for Rochester Aesthetic Education Institute. She is a member of: MENC, New York State School Music Association (NYSSMA), International Society for Music Education, American Orff-Schulwerk Association (AOSA), Association of Supervision and Curriculum Development, and National Association for the Education of Young Children. She has served as a faculty member for Ohio University (1975-76), Illinois State University (1980-84), and Eastman (1984-).
