Here is a ragtime solo that lies well in the hands, has easy syncopation, yet captures the ragtime style perfectly. The technical ease is based on the left hand. This hand is written using a C five-finger pattern throughout, with the exception of a two-measure shift to Middle C position. The right hand moves around more, but always within the reading range of this level. The upbeat sound and feel of this piece will bring a smile to the faces of those who play it and those who hear it as well.
